Personal…
I am an Indiana boy, raised in central and northern Indiana.  My first school experience was a 4-room school house in the country with the 6 lower grades in those rooms.  I eventually got to bigger schools and graduated from Ball State University in 1973.  My first wife Judy and I have one son who is a cowboy in Oklahoma.  I moved to W. Lafayette on July 4th 2008 after marrying the second love of my life Pam.  She has a daughter here in town working for Food-Finders.

Spiritual…
I was raised in Methodist Churches in small town Indiana.  I decided when I went off to Ball State that I didn’t need “church” any more and lived as I chose. I came back to the Lord and was baptized in 1977 in a non-denominational Christian Church.  That event started the learning and growing process in my life that has never stopped.  I invested 25 years in a Christian Church in Goshen; many of those years were in the role of deacon or elder.  Currently in Lafayette we attend Victory Christian Center and the learning and growing process is still in full force.

Business…
I bring 37 years of business experience to bear for my clients (in addition to being chapter president for Truth@Work I am a business coach with ActionCOACH).  Twenty-eight of those years were with Fortune 100 corporations.  Briefly my corporate experience was centered on sales, marketing, management and planning in the wood products industry.  My final role was as an international product manager with responsibility for vendor negotiations and contracts along with marketing and sales strategies that lead to the successful introduction of this line in North America.  During this time I had the privilege of working with a wide variety of business owners from whom I learned a great deal.  This experience was excellent training for the mentoring and coaching work I do now.

Passion…
My passion is to lead Christian business owners and executives to improve their faith walk in the marketplace and grow their businesses in God-honoring ways.  I choose to be a Christ-centered influence on my clients who do not know Jesus as their Savior.  I am also passionate about bringing the wisdom and knowledge that the Father has blessed me with to the business community to grow the business’ profitability and teams.  And by the way…”profit” is not a dirty word in my book or as far as I can tell in the Father’s.
