Joining a Christian Roundtable Group & Meeting Agenda

Participation in a Truth@Work Christian Roundtable Group program is a unique opportunity. Participation in a group is considered a privilege. Members are invited to participate in the program only after completing a thorough qualification process.

Truth@Work has developed a very specific four-step process for new members to join the program:

Step 1 - Referral or Invitation

Prospective members are generally referred to Truth@Work
through current members. Truth@Work staff or board members can also extend direct invitations. If you are interested in forwarding information about Truth@Work to someone, please visit truthatwork.org.

Step 2 - Truth@Work Private Briefing/Trial Roundtable Meeting

In areas where no Truth@Work Christian Business Roundtable Group exists, interested participants must be invited to attend a Truth@Work Private Briefing. This Private Briefing is hosted by a Truth@Work Chapter President and is a 90-minute presentation. A complete and detailed overview of the Christian Business Roundtable Group program is given. Attendance at this presentation does not guarantee qualification to participate in the program. Upon completion of the Private Briefing, attendees indicate whether they are interested in going to Step 3 - Qualification Interview.
In areas where a Truth@Work Christian Business Roundtable does exist, interested participants may be invited to attend a trial Roundtable meeting, at no cost with no obligation. If interested participants do attend a trial Roundtable meeting, they will be required to sign a Confidentiality Statement as a guest.

Step 3 - Qualification Interview

After attending the Private Briefing, if a roundtable prospect indicates interest in gathering additional information, the next step is to meet with the local Truth@Work Chapter President. This 30 - 45 minute structured qualification interview usually occurs within one week of the Truth@Work Private Briefing/Trial Roundtable Meeting. This interview is designed to determine if the program is right for the prospect and if the prospect qualifies for participation. If prospective member and the Truth@Work Chapter President agree it is a right fit, the prospect is scheduled to participate in a Truth@Work Christian Business Roundtable Group.

Step 4 - Attend Your First Meeting

As new members are enrolled into the program, a Welcome Kit is provided. Members start attending monthly Christian Business Roundtable Group meetings to build relationships with other group members and become acclimated on the program, materials and format.

On average, new members usually attend their first monthly roundtable group meeting within 30- 45 days after attending the Private Briefing.

A Typical Meeting Agenda (4 Hour Format)

Case Study/Devotional
- A business issue or challenge is discussed in light of Biblical principles and truth.

Open Roundtable Discussion - This is the time to share and learn best practices that will help you grow and lead your business. Members also receive input on addressing key issues, challenges, and opportunities they are facing.

Personal Accountability/Business Planning - Each month participants are required to complete a personal and business assessment. They establish goals and commitments in all key areas of life: business, personal, family and spiritual. They are held accountable by the group to accomplish them.
